We all have our struggles and challenges. When it looks like one is over, the next one is harboring.

Going through those fires thou, doesn’t have to translate into living in a constant fire. That sounds awfully a lot like hell, and I am certain, after experiencing life by the hand of Jesus for as little and as much as 10 years, that Heaven is at hand.

Heaven is at hand. He through whom everything was made, including Heaven, is in our midst.

“Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming, and I will dwell in your midst”, says the LORD”.

-Zachariah 2:10

A small sentence with so much depth.

Now, this letter is not about trying to explain a small layer of understanding because it is not what I´ve been called for, but it is to testify and put into words what I´ve seen; and because He is faithful, I wouldn´t be surprised to find out that it is the same as what you have seen.

Let me just pray for a second, and feel free to join me in the same spirit as we are united; This is in fact all what this is about; This ever-present fellowship with God which makes a day and night difference in our lives.

-Thank you, Jesus. You are here. I am yours. We are united beyond the very ends of the world to you. We are your church; we are your bride. We are your children, your precious possession, the girl of your eye.

There is so much harboring in my heart right now. Our God is doing great things. It is challenging to catch the way You work at times. The fact that the expansion of Your grace is not limited to the painful circumstances we encounter, but that you make them useful and productive to your good plans in our lives, leaves me flummoxed and leads me to hope. Yes that´s one thing I can ground my soul on, Your word has the power of making me hopeful, completely hopeful. Your word can cleanse me from anxiety and hate, can cleanse me from depression and from every pain.

Your word can make me excited for what is coming. Your word can make me peaceful about the present.

Here is the pain I feel, it´s yours. Take it master God. Use it and bring out your sweet aroma. I am your garden, I trust you. Thank you for the gift of faith. I believe your word, I believe you, I know you are true.

Make a way for my mind to receive your plans and your word, that I may always delight with the awareness of your involvement in my life.

Trusting in You calms my soul.

You calm down every storm.

Look at every thought and word about to take part in my experience, help me to submit it to you. I am in chains to you. I am a captive to you. I serve only to the living God, and I reject every evil wanting to take hold of my soul, I speak all this words in the name of the One I belong to, in your mighty name, Jesus.

Amen.

And so, this is how this letter came to exist. To share the encouragement of fixing our eyes in Jesus. Of taking the opportunity to fellowship with Him in prayer when powerful feelings and daunting circumstances come our way.

Say NO to the distractions that with pain might come our way. The power and authority to do that is with us, is in us.

No power of this world is above the Holy Spirit, our victory.

We are free to be still, we are free to stay put in His word, our hearts doesn´t have to spiral in overwhelming and polluting ideas or sensations, because once and once again:

“I declare of my Lord:

He is my refuge and my fortress,

My God in whom I trust.”

The word from Psalm 91:2

Yes.

“I declare of my Lord:

He is my refuge and my fortress, My God in whom I trust.”

Yes.

Only El Shaddai -God almighty- is my God, only to Him I serve and only in Him I live. I don´t live in pain, I live in Emmanuel -God with us.

And so yes! My heart shouts at the top of my lungs: “…I am coming, I will dwell in your midst, says the Lord”

The word of God is with me. Go away pain.

I can be still, I know that You are God (from psalm 46:10).

My dear brother and sister, it does take some effort to meditate day and night in His word, but his promises are always yes and amen, it makes a difference in our lives. God is calling us to abide in him, He just wants to care for us and lead us to safety. Let´s go get our comfort, counsel and tender healing.

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High,

Shall abide under the shadow of the almighty”

        -Psalm 91:1

That is His promise today.

With love.
