SPOILER ALERT: This post is highly idealistic and maybe unreal -I´m here to dream thou.

Could being gay transcend an individual sexual preference into a shared state of being?

Is it possible that by taking pride in being gay individually, the society as a whole might be losing the chance of being gay together?

Is it possible to hold hands together and celebrate our mere existence together?

The thought I’m raising to consider, unfold, and dissect is that: maybe a path to nurture social equality is by celebrating the ideal of being gay together.

Maybe, by focusing on celebrating the intimate sexual details of a group of individuals, we are stilling dignity out of those people and at the same time, segregating them. It crosses my mind as a possibility, so could it be happening?

Isn‘t taking pride something that separates us from one another?

Isn’t our goal to finish the divisions?

Then, why are we still celebrating them?

Are we ready as a society to fully accept that LGBTQ+ is as normal in our society ad heterosexual, and therefore, celebrate our gay society as a whole. Yes are we ready to consider that sexual orientation is private, diverse, legal, rightful, and that we. as a society, are no longer fixated on it. We are gay. We are united. We´ve played our parts and we have arrived.

Now, could this be the time to take possession of the conquest land of diversity, acceptance, and dignity for all?

I, a heterosexual who hasn‘t challenged social paradigms, hence haven’t faced public judgment, wouldn’t be comfortable publicizing the intimate details of my sexual preferences, is it that I’m a bit blindsided here? Or is there any sense in this for the generality of people?

I’m happy to see the homosexual society rising up to live healthy lives full of love! I hate that they have to expose themselves. Each person is who each person is.

I‘m happy that society is being pressed on to build systems that foster their families to thrive.

I am even grateful that something with so many dirty outcomes as the capitalist state has provided their very well-earned legitimacy, by quantifying the heavy weight of “pink money” and showing what a BIG force it is.

And I guess that’s the thing, the “pink” lifestyle, the gay lifestyle is SO influential in every aspect of society, it brings the sophistication we need as a society, to curate the huge offer we have available.

Could we be getting into the times for curating the narrative of being gay and making it go mainstream?

Who wouldn’t want to be gay by definition? Lighthearted and carefree, a person who can have peace with his/her ways, a person who lives by their definition, who doesn’t take human judgment too seriously but follows their sincere heart.

We all need a dose of gay in our lives, that’s for sure!

I know soon we’ll celebrate that love overcomes everything, as we experience how It makes the way for everyone to live a good, gay life that expands and benefits all.
